Well it seems Leonardo Dicaprio has found another dream project for him to do in a movie called the crowded room! It is based on a true story of a man named Billy Milligan who had committed crimes with the problem of having 24 personalites. Leonardo will play Milligan as well his personalities. Here are the list of the different characters. Philip, a petty criminal; Kevin, who dealt drugs and masterminded a drugstore robbery; April whose only ambition was to kill Billy’s stepfather; Adalana, the shy, lonely, affection-starved lesbian who “used” Billy’s body in the rapes that led to his arrest; David, the eight-year-old “keeper of pain”; Arthur, the Englishman; Ragen, the “keeper of Rage” who possessed incredible strength; Allen, the con man; Tommy, the escape-artist, and all of the others, including men, women, several children, both boys and girls, and the Teacher, the only one who can put them all together. Each of these “people” play a distinct role in this often shocking true story. I’m guessing for this movie he will have to wear certain clothes and have different accents and voices for each character in one person. No word on who will direct this film or when it will come out. Once I hear more about the Crowded room, I’ll for sure be posting it.
Just after winning his first Oscar for Best actor as Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything, Eddie redmayne will be playing a most challenging role in his career: A woman! Redmayne will play both Einar Wegener/Lili Elbe in a movie called the Danish Girl who was the first person to have a sex change in the 1920s. The film will he directed by Tom Hooper who previously directed Redmayne in Lès Misèrablès. The film wil start principal photography later this year with a release date in 2016. Here is a first look at Eddie Redmayne in make up and a red wig
In honor Leonard Nimoys career espically as Spock i thought I would post the fateful scene from Wrath of Khan. Its a shame that it became a reality today! Rest in peace Leonard
Leonard Simon Nimoy (1931-2015)
My fellow Trekkies, it is with deep sorrow to inform that Leonard Nimoy who played the famous Mr. Spock has died today at 83 years old! He died from complications from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease which causes from years of smoking tobacco in which he was diagnosed within a few months ago.
Leonard was born on March 26th, 1931 to immigrated Jewish parents and moved to Boston, Massasschuetts at a young age.
He started his film career in sci-fi in 1952 with Zombies from the Stratosphere. Then in 1966-1969 he was cast in the sci fi television show Star trek as Mr. Spock and would continue to play the role for over 40 years in 8 movies a two part Next generation episode and countless video games. His final film was actually Star trek: into darkness which parraelled Wrath of Khan. He is also an acclaimed director in which he directed two star trek films and three men and a baby. He had done voice over work through star trek, transformers, the Pagemaster and Atlantis: the lost empire. He had recently voiced Master Xehanort in the video game franchise Kingdom Hearts.
He had written two autobiographies one saying I’m not Spock and I am Spock in which he had been typecasted as the Vulcan character and explained his views on his life being identified as Spock and how it changed him from bad to good. He recently got his hands on photography and wrote a book about his work and his photos are displayed in a few muesems in Massachusetts.
It is a terrible shame to have lost an accomplished actor who was beloved by his colleagues and family. Many fans and I will miss this actor for many years. I would like to use a poem that was said in Star trek II: The wrath of Khan from the book “A Tale of Two Cities” “It is a far, far better thing that I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest that I go to than I have ever known.” He can now rest in the planet Genesis which is now heaven. May his family find peace and looked after and as for Leonard Nimoy, rest in peace and Live long and prosper in heaven with God!
Harrison Ford became well-known in the scifi and adventure world by three different roles. The roles were Indiana Jones, Han Solo and Rick Deckard. While he recently came back as Indy a few years back, he will return as Han Solo this winter for episode 7 of Star Wars and will officially return for Blade Runner 2! The filming will begin next summer with Denis Villeneuve directing the sequel. I will be curious to see how Ford will do with returning to these roles as a much older guy and might not be in as great of a shape now. Lets see how this turns out.
Ok, i guess i will post it now since i was gonna do it at some point, here is my favorite scene from se7en, the ending with john doe. Now i won’t reveal what happens so i urge those who haven’t seen the movie dont watch this scene. It has both Morgan freeman, brad pitt and a soon to be two time oscar winner named Kevin Spacey. To the people who has seen the movie, you’ll know what i am talking about. Enjoy the final scene

In honor of the one year of being online with Moviecritic92, I thought I would post a song that would fit with my blog. Everything is Awesome by Tegan and sara with The Lonely island in background. With the actual song, I thought I would post the song being performed also at the Oscars, Will Arnett who played batman showed up in costume as the caped crusader. I think you might get a kick out of this. The movie wasn’t nominated for best animated but the song was nominated but lost to Glory from Selma. There will be three different LEGO movies released within the next four years. I hope you guys enjoy this.
